Collaborative Work

Working closely with another artist is a balancing act that repays many times the effort to make it work. A lot of an artist’s life is solo time in the studio, so regularly working together with another can bring many plusses. There is a creative energy that is often greater than the sum of two parts; the practical aspects of bringing different skills (and tools!) to a partnership; the companionship of a good working relationship; also the ability to tackle larger projects together. The chance to work on a large scale is very exciting for a sculptor, and teamwork makes these projects much more manageable. Featured here are various projects completed mainly in Toronto for local design firms.
